SANY Global a world leading manufacturer of port machinery and technology is expanding its marketing network to cover the whole of West Africa from Nigeria as it continues to seek partnership with locals to setup up dealership offices around the country.
Though port equipment market for the region is slow due to poor economy climate but the manufacturing giant has a fixed interest in Nigeria in a long term with the believe that Nigeria economy will grow and the cargo traffic will be huge. The ports operations will be active enough to encourage ports, terminals and warehouse owners to buy new equipment and technology rather than used equipment from Europe.
SANY is teaming up with NIMPORT as one of its committee members to drive the equipment and technology session of NIMPORT 2017 holding from August 22nd-24th 2017 at the Oriental Hotel Victoria Island Lagos. This session will help review all aspect of equipment and technology acquisition for expanding and sustaining port operations in a cost effective manner.
Poor performance efficiency of equipment and old facilities have been blamed for low productivity in port and terminal operations around Africa leading to loss of operational time and money.
NIMPORT 2017 will be addressing the problems caused by old and used equipment at the terminals and logistics handling centres around the country which eventually delivers low output and causes damage to both pavement of the work areas and access links to the port. As Nigeria seeks to further her promotion for exports, the ports, terminals and warehouses will need a closer market for heavy duty equipment supply and for continuous maintenance and sourcing of parts.
